Westlake Complementary Medicine

Westlake Complementary Medicine is an integrative medical practice where the wisdom and holistic approach of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) are combined with the science and technological prowess of Western Medicine to treat infertility, and other reproductive disorders.

TCM, Acupuncture for Infertility

For over a decade, Dr. Ray Rubio D.A.O.M., L. Ac., FABORM has been helping couples struggling with Infertility. Combining evidence-based research protocols, western medical diagnostics, acupuncture - and the accumulated knowledge of nearly 3000 years of Traditional Chinese Medicine - we bring the best of both worlds to help our patients fulfill their dream of starting a family.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is rooted in our deep respect and compassion for our patients. We approach each patient individually, and look to design our infertility treatment plan based on what will be the most expedient path to conception, while taking into account the very personal needs of that particular patient.

In order to more completely serve the unique needs our patients, we have developed a referral network of specialists and resources to complement our acupuncture and infertility treatment protocols, including Reproductive Endocrinologists, OB/Gynecologists, Mind/Body Counseling, and nutritionists - each uniquely qualified to aid in our patient's path to pregnancy.

At Westlake Complementary Medicine, we believe that the goal is not just getting pregnant, but staying pregnant, promoting a balanced and healthy gestational period, and encouraging post-partum care for the mother and new baby.
